  18. <p>     Without Dan Quayle to label all of show business culturally
  19. elite, movie moguls must compete for the honor. Studios already
  20. dashing to develop Edith Wharton novels are now jumping on a
  21. curious Jackson Pollock bandwagon. There are plans for three
  22. movies that will chronicle the life of America's pioneer Abstract
  23. Expressionist. "His whole life was cinematic," explains ED HARRIS,
  24. who is starring in one of the biopics. "Even the way he came
  25. to paint on the floor is cinematic." Robert De Niro and Barbra
  26. Streisand are planning a version, and another is in development
  27. for Al Pacino. Stay tuned in the months ahead for a trio of
  28. TV movies on Marcel Duchamp.
